Water drips out of the steam head

Water is dripping from the nozzle.

What to do if water is constantly dripping from the nozzle during operation:

Check whether the outside of the nozzle is damaged. Is the nozzle plate (only for plastic nozzles) with the holes from which the steam flows firmly attached to the nozzle housing?

If the steamer is older and calcified (visible sediments in the black filling area of the steamer), condensation may drip from the nozzle.

If the hose hangs for a long time, condensation water collects in the hose, which is then carried upwards with the steam flowing in and drips out of the nozzle. Stretch the hose vertically upwards once so that the water in the hose can run back into the steamer.

Is the water canister and the lid on the canister OK (models J-2000, J-2, J-1)?

If all the above possible faults/defects are out of the question, it could be that there is a defect in the nozzle itself.

Now unscrew the hose from the steamer, switch on the steamer and see if water bubbles and sprays out of the steamer hose connection. If so, it is due to the calcified boiler, the water tank or a blockage. Clean/descale the steamer.

If the steamer now runs smoothly and hardly any water sprays out of the appliance, the fault is clearly in the nozzle or the hose. If you still have an old hose from a steamer, screw it on as a replacement and/or order a new hose from us.
