Operation & application
How do I use the Jiffy Steamer correctly?
Simply fill it with water, switch on the device, and wait briefly until steam is emitted. Then hold the nozzle vertically over the garment—the steam smooths the fibers in seconds.
How long does it take for the steamer to be ready for use?
Depending on the model, the heating time is only about 1–2 minutes or 15–18 minutes (J-4000 series).
Can I use normal tap water?
Yes, in most regions this is not a problem. If the water is very hard, we recommend using distilled or decalcified water to extend the life of the device.
What fabrics can I treat with the steamer?
Almost all textiles—from cotton to silk, viscose, wool, polyester, and linen. Delicate fabrics should be steamed at a slight distance.

Care & Maintenance
How do I descale my Jiffy Steamer?
Depending on usage, the device should be descaled regularly. Fill it with a mixture of water and a standard descaler, leave it to work for a short time, and then rinse thoroughly. Detailed instructions are included with each device.
How often should I clean the steamer?
For daily use, we recommend descaling at least every 1–2 months. Look out for visible limescale deposits in the steamer.

How much water does the tank hold?
Our professional models have a 3.5-liter water tank, which is sufficient for up to 1.5 hours of continuous operation.
How hot does the steam get?
The steam reaches temperatures of approx. 98–100 °C – hot enough to smooth out wrinkles and have a hygienic effect at the same time.
Are spare parts and accessories available?
Yes, we offer original spare parts, nozzles, hoses, and accessories directly through our shop.

How long does shipping take?
Shipping usually takes place within 2–4 business days after receipt of payment (in Germany). Deliveries outside of Germany usually take longer; see

We offer purchase on account for commercial customers in Germany (e.g., fashion stores, studios). Private customers can pay via PayPal, credit card, or prepayment.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, all Jiffy Steamers come with a 36-month warranty from the date of purchase (consumer warranty).

What do I need to bear in mind as a commercial buyer when it comes to delivery?
Please check the devices immediately upon receipt.
Obvious defects should be reported within 8 days, hidden defects immediately upon discovery.
This allows us to rectify any problems directly (§ 377 HGB).
How reliable are the devices in everyday use?
Our steam smoothers are well suited for professional continuous use in the fashion trade.
With normal use – e.g. for smoothing new goods or for daily refreshing of garments – they will last for many years and produce steam evenly.
